Super Bowl Halftime Show: Why Madonna Is a Bad Choice for NFL
After last year's Black Eyed Peas debacle it seemed impossible that someone could pull off a worse performance. Well, Madonna is about to give it a run.
Yes, that is right, Madonna is doing the halftime show.
How did they blow this decision so badly? The NFL cannot afford another halftime show fail and Madonna is almost a lock to deliver just that.

Landing Spots for Potential Cap Cuts ✂️
She isn't a very good singer. She made her career off sex appeal and being outrageous. That is not going to cut it now. She is fifty-three years old, so not much sex appeal is left. Lady Gaga has replaced Madonna as the queen of crazy-dress and stunts.
I know she is a cultural icon, but her time has come and gone. If she was in her twenties or thirties and still in the prime of her career, this would be a good choice—but she is not. Gaga would have been a better choice: she is young, relevant and a much better singer.
In fact I can think of a ton of relevant artists that would make great choices; Bon Jovi, Eminem, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Lupe Fiasco, Lil' Wayne, The Band Perry, Train, Hot Shel Ray, Iron Maiden.
All of those listed are talented artists who didn't rise to fame with mediocre singing, outrageous actions and sex appeal.
I miss the day when we had good halftime shows. When we had the King of Pop preforming, not the Queen of Smut.
Hopefully, back-to-back halftime show flops will open the NFL's eyes and we can go back to having good music during the Super Bowl.
